It’s foodie Friday and today we have a super easy recipe that is perfect for a quick breakfast or morning snack! It doesn’t get much easier than dumping a few ingredients into a mason jar and letting it sit in the fridge overnight! Oh and did we mention it is so delicious you will probably find yourself rushing to the fridge in the morning instead of hitting that snooze button!
Start with a mason jar and layer in the following order
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup vanilla or plain yogurt
An option for more protein add 1-2 tbsp of flax meal
Put the mason jar in the fridge overnight (do not mix up ingredients until the morning)
When you are ready to devour, I mean eat, top with your favorite fruit and nuts. We love blueberries or strawberries with sliced almonds and a pinch of brown sugar if desired.
